Peter Karp: Blues Breaker
Roots player and songwriter Peter Karp spent his childhood alternating between the swamps of New Jersey and the trailer parks of Alabama. This led him to form a punk rock band as a teen, as one does, which he abandoned to travel and raise a family. He started his own film production company, which he also quit in the nineties. Since then he has been writing songs about it all. His latest is called ALABAMA TOWN, a tribute to the trailer parks of his boyhood, and dedicated to his recently passed African American step mother, Ruth Turner. Here now, the title track.
AIR DATES: February 18-19, 2017
