International Blues Challenge 2016

The International Blues Challenge comes to Memphis next week for its annual five day battle of the bands. (Go to blues.org for more info.) Elwood will play some past contestants, including Susan Tedeschi, Tommy Castro, Eddie Cotton, and MonkeyJunk. We will also listen to some of this year’s players, the blues stars of tomorrow, Charlie A’Court, Michael Schatte, Jamiah “On Fire” and the Red Machine, and Blues Point, coming all the way to Memphis from Poland. Plus new music from the eternally excellent Tom Jones.
