Down to New Orleans this week, for the rolling good times of Mardi Gras. You will hear Professor Longhair, the Meters, Jake the Snake, Clifton Chenier, Dr. John, Wild Tchoupitoulas, and Wild Magnolias. Anders Osborne hooks up with Monk Boudreaux, the Neville Brothers hook up with each other, and Marcia Ball, Irma Thomas, and Tracy Nelson also get real chummy. To cap things off, a quick visit to Canada and new music from the suave guitar master JW Jones.
