Get On Up! in The BluesMobile this weekend!
GET ON UP is the new movie biography of the great James Brown, out now. Brown is portrayed by the young actor Chadwick Boseman (who played Jackie Robinson in last year’s 42; Dan Aykroyd, whom you may know, also appears in the movie). Boseman joins Elwood to talk about the movie, James Brown, and the blues. Many classic funk favorites will be spun, as well as clips from our archival James Brown interview. Also, new music from a two man blues punk band out of Portland, Hillstomp.
