Eric Clapton: Blues Breaker

Eric Clapton has a new record out.  I believe his work is familiar to you.  And he teams up with producer Glyn Johns again, for the first time since they did the classic album SLOWHAND together, almost 40 years ago.  It is a great collection of the kind of music you have come to expect from Eric Clapton, a cover of Bob Dylan, a Robert Johnson tune, songs from soulman Leroy Carr, and blues legend Skip James.  Plus a couple original tunes, and two songs by his favorite songwriter JJ Cale, the guy wrote the classics “Cocaine,” and “After Midnight.”  The new release is called I STILL DO and includes this one, “Can’t Let You Do It.”

AIR DATES: June 11-12, 2016
