Elwood’s Blues Breaker: Toronzo Cannon

Toronzo Cannon has been a trusted sideman to local Chicago blues people since 1996, but in recent years he has been stepping out on his own. Now he has signed with the legendary Alligator label, where he will continue to deliver his own original brand of Chicago blues. He’s got the charisma. He’s got the songwriting skills. He has the guitar chops. He is Toronzo Cannon. The release is called THE CHICAGO WAY. This up to the minute blues ditty is called “Mid Life Crisis.”
