Elwood’s Blues Breaker: Raphael Wressnig “Chasing Rainbows”

Raphael Wressnig is a keyboard player out of Austria.  For his musical specialty he chose that monster, that gurgling beast of hardcore soul music, the Hammond B-3 organ. Wressnig  has recorded over a dozen albums, and toured all over the world, showing off a rich repertoire of blues, jazz, and soul, and paying homage to the great players who have gone before him, like Jimmy Smith, Gregg Allman, and Booker T. In 2014, he and his B3 took a little trip to New Orleans, to get the funk and do it up right.  Many Louisiana guest players joined in, including George Porter from the Meters and piano man Jon Cleary.  Soul singer Tad Robinson handles the vocals on this one.  “Chasing Rainbows.”
