Elwood’s Blues Breaker: JW Jones “Love Times Ten”

JW Jones first stepped into a recording studio in 1999, when he was still in high school.  He had just won a battle of the bands contest in Ottawa.  Ever since, guitar man JW Jones has torn up the blues landscape, gathering fans and awards most every time he picks up his ax. He has ten Maple Blues Awards to date.  That is the Canadian Oscar for the blues. And his guitar playing has been compared, quite favorably, to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter. JW’s latest release is BELMONT BOULEVARD.  It was produced by the Grammy-winning producer, Tom Hambridge.  Hambridge co-wrote this song with another Canadian blues legend, Colin Linden. Here is JW Jones and Love Times Ten.
