Corey Dennison Band: Blues Breaker

Born in Chattanooga, Corey Dennison spent his childhood moving about Tennessee and Georgia.  Heard the blues on late night radio, and got his first guitar at age six.  Soon he was imitating Gatemouth Brown, Albert King, and singing along with soul classics.  After years as a sideman, he brought his own band to Chicago in 2013.  Signed with legendary Chicago label Delmark, and is now releasing a self titled debut record, the Corey Dennison Band. If you like blues guitar and soulful vocals, with a whole lotta city, but some juke joint in there as well, you come to the right place.  Here is the Corey Dennison Band, “Getcha Pull.”

AIR DATES: August 20-21, 2016
