Booker T. joins Elwood in The BluesMobile this weekend!

Music from Booker T. is not only cause for celebration, it should be the occasion for a holiday.   SOUND THE ALARM puts him back on the rejuvenated Stax label.   It will be played, along with some killer items from his catalog, featuring Eddie Floyd, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Carla Thomas….  Plus his ace rhythm section on their own- Booker T. and the MG’s.   And some people he produced, including Bill Withers, Sheila E. and Poncho Sanchez.  Finally: new music from blues super group, Royal Southern Brotherhood.
